The church offers regular and one off events, including Sunday Worship and a wide range of community activities and events including Deaf Choir, Painting Classes, Youth Groups, Brownies, Ladies Groups, Yoga and Fitness to name a few. The group help maintain and promote the award winning Elsecar park.

Working hard to transform Hemingfield Colliery from an abandoned, overgrown Victorian coal mine, into an exciting visitor attraction.

Crime and Safety Group

This group meets to help build community spirit within Hemingfield by organising several community events, undertaking local projects and by addressing local crime and safety issues.

Mates of Milton

A highly respected community group which organises a number of community events including a summer gala and Christmas Tree light switch on. This group also funds hanging baskets along Milton Road and look after 3 large community planters and a community notice board.
